Arena of Valor World Cup Prize Pool Update

Tencent Games has updated the Arena of Valor World Cup prize pool it over $550,000 in prizes. Over the next few months, teams from across the globe will be competing for a spot in the Arena of Valor World Cup and a chance at the prize.

Players in North America and Europe can participate now in the Valor Series for their chance to compete for a piece of the $550,000 cash prize pool.

Arena of Valor World Cup Prize Pool Update

The prize structure of the Arena of Valor World Cup is as follows:

  • $200,000 – Overall Winning Team
  • $100,000 – Second Ranked Team
  • $50,000 – Third & Fourth Ranked Teams
  • $18,000 – Fifth through Eighth Ranked Teams

The World Cup will also have additional prizes for teams based on teamwork. These are based on the following criteria:

  • $5,000 – Most Tenacious Team – Awarded to the team that pulls off a victory from the largest deficit.
  • $5,000 – Most Creative Team – Awarded to the team that experiments and utilizes new and successful strategies.

The Arena of Valor World Cup will also distribute numerous awards for players based on their individual gameplay. These player awards are based on the following criteria:

  • $10,000 – AWC Overall MVP
  • $3,500 – Player with the Most Kills
  • $2,500 – Player with the Second Most Kills
  • $1,000 – Player with the Third Most Kills
  • $3,500 – Player with the Most Assists
  • $2,500 – Player with the Second Most Assists
  • $1,000 – Player with the Third Most Assists
  • $3,000 – Player who Dealt the Most Damage
  • $3,000 – Player who Took the Most Damage
  • $1,500 – Player who created a Successful Strategy with a Less Popular Hero.

In addition, there will also be $500 awarded to each team for each match won during the Arena of Valor World Cup.

In total, this adds up to over $550,000 worth of Cash Prizes.
